They not only focus on physical attributes but also consider factors like health, temperament, and suitability for specific purposes. Their work contributes to the preservation of specific breeds, the development of new breeds, and the overall advancement of animal husbandry. Animal breeders often have a deep understanding of genetics, pedigrees, and breed standards, using their expertise to make informed breeding decisions.Īnimal breeders play a significant role in maintaining and improving the quality and diversity of animal populations. By mating these animals, they aim to create offspring that inherit and express those desired traits. Whether working with dogs, horses, livestock, or other animals, breeders carefully choose parent animals that possess specific characteristics, such as size, color, temperament, or performance abilities. Lets worry about if the content is actually good and good for the hobby. An animal breeder specializes in selectively breeding animals to produce offspring with desired traits. I know some will say they have to get the views.Īll I am saying is maybe take a moment and think about more then getting a video to go viral because of something stupid done in the video. I know some will get upset and think they are classified on one side or the other. You really can say this about any social media site. They do not put views, likes, and shares over morals. I can think of a lot of people like this. They put out facts over the shock and awe. These people put out content they care about. Now there are some that I would say are Breeders that put content on YouTube. The viral videos that put this hobby in a bad light. Stop the videos that are nothing but for views and shares. Maybe just maybe you will start something. Maybe just maybe you will create a passion for the animal or subject you create the video about. Who cares if it only gets 600 views when the rest of your videos get 1500. So if you like something create content about it. Passion is created with the love of what you are doing. And this is where I say you are a YouTuber first and a Breeder second. I get it though it does take time to create a video. I do not get that because doing a video and getting any views seems like a win to me. I have heard YouTubers say I can not do a video on that because it just does not get the views as my other videos. The creator will even say that Content Creators need to use titles to get clicks. You think that the video is one thing but it is not. Clickbait seems like a bait and switch to me. Free handling venomous, Giving wrong info that seems cool, or Just plain old clickbait. My problem comes from when people put aside their morals to get the subs, likes, or views. That number is the gauge of how "cool" you are in the niche you make videos in. The people that have a few thousand are looked down on by the people with tens of thousands. They are what drive the Tube! If you only have 400 Subs you are nothing and looked down on by people that have a few thousand. I also would never not do a video because it would not get a ton of views. I personally would never put my morals to the side to gain views. I am one that is for correct info getting out to the general public. They are worried about numbers but they will not throw morals out the window to get "paid" on YouTube. Well that is not as easy of a thing to Identify as one may think. So you may ask who is who and who is on this side or that side. That line is Animals and info first and then whatever it takes for views. I look at YouTube and see a line and this line is crossed a lot by people. Is there a difference? Is there a switch in people that start a youtube channel? When does it become more about likes and shares over the animals themselves? When does it start being more about how many views our likes a topic gets? Breeders and YouTube! YouTube and Breeders.
